Moose Wins It All While Stow Implodes at the Worst Moment

From Week 1, this league made it clear it had no interest in being boring. Moose opened with a 142.74-point demolition of Tuna, Stow squeaked past Memphis by 2.36 points in what should have been a sign of things to come, and Wine — Wine — dropped 156.00 points in Week 2 to beat Tuna by nearly 40, a performance so out of character it probably hasn't been mentioned since. The early weeks established a pecking order: Stow looked like a machine, Moose looked dangerous, and Nuss looked like they were running a charity for opposing managers. By Week 7, Stow had put up 187.02 points — 53% above the league average — and by Week 10, they detonated a 196.22-point masterpiece that stood as the single highest score in the entire league all season. Jahmyr Gibbs alone put up 36.70 points that week. Stow looked, genuinely, unbeatable.
Then the playoffs happened. Stow — the team with the highest single-game score in league history, the highest average (145.30 points per game), and the most total points scored all season (2,324.86) — walked into the semifinals and got knocked out by Waldy 165.40 to 150.60. That's not an upset. That's a crime scene. Stow's 126.92 bench points in the championship week — points that were literally sitting there, doing nothing, while the starting lineup managed 103.98 — should be submitted as evidence in a formal inquiry. Jahmyr Gibbs scored 5.40 in the championship. Five forty. He scored 36.70 in Week 10. The regular season Stow and the playoff Stow were operating in different timezones. Meanwhile, Moose — who finished the regular season 13-3, went on a four-game winning streak to close the year, and hit 138.72 in the championship — just kept showing up. Bijan Robinson dropped 37.40 points in the title game. Ja'Marr Chase added 21.50. Josh Allen threw in 23.18. While Stow's stars were napping, Moose's roster was putting in overtime.
For everyone else, the season was a collection of cautionary tales and near-misses. Tuna had more total points than Moose (2,226.52 to 2,127.34) and somehow finished 9-8 — the scheduling gods were not kind. Marc went 8-7 with a 161.82-point week that included De'Von Achane going nuclear for 37.50 points, only to crater to 80.26 in Week 14 and miss the playoffs anyway. Waldy made the championship on a 165.40-point semifinal performance where Puka Nacua went for 40.50 and Matthew Stafford dropped 30.88, then scored 94.84 in the final — 22% below league average — and watched Moose collect the trophy. And Nuss? Nuss finished 2-14 with an L8 losing streak to close the year, put up 62.90 in Week 13 — the lowest single-game score in the entire league all season — and started Max Brosmer, who contributed negative 3.06 points. CHAMPION'S CROWN
Moose's 13-3 record was the best in the league, and it wasn't built on luck — it was built on consistency, showing up week after week near or above 132.96 points per game when the rest of the league was spiking and crashing. The signature moment of their championship run came in Week 16, a 0.50-point semifinal squeaker over Zach — 145.98 to 145.48 — the closest game of the entire season, a margin that would have ended their run if a single extra point had gone the other way. They survived that, and in the final, Bijan Robinson's 37.40-point explosion made sure there was no drama: Moose blew out Waldy by 43.88 points and walked away as the 2025 B1G League champions, clean and unbothered.
