Rammies Keep Murdering People While Dumpster Fire Stays Unbeaten on Vibes Alone

WEEK IN REVIEW

Five weeks in and the NoCo NFL has a full-blown identity crisis at the top. Rammies Are #1 went 158.36 on a week where CeeDee Lamb put up 2.90 points and it didn't matter — Jahmyr Gibbs (37.70) and Isaiah Likely (32.40) made sure of it. That's 5-0 at 161.63 PPG, a number so obscene it makes the rest of the league feel like they're playing a different sport. Meanwhile, Dumpster Fire Donations stayed perfect at 5-0 by posting their season-low of 103.72, which is the fantasy equivalent of showing up to a math test in flip-flops and still getting a B+. Kirk Cousins contributed 13.72 points. Cairo Santos contributed zero. Jaylen Warren (36.80) contributed to everyone's therapy bills. The 34-point PPG gap between these two undefeated teams is the most interesting number in the league right now, because at some point the schedule is going to make them share a field.

The week's most violent act was Total Karnage detonating for 163.78 — the second-highest single-game score in league history — and dropping it directly on Old School's chest. Joe Burrow (24.60), Christian Watson (32.30), and Malik Nabers (29.10) combined for a game that would've won almost any other matchup this season. Old School scored 122 points and lost by 41. That's not bad luck. That's a ghost. Back-to-back gut-shots now — a 1.74-point loss in Week 4 followed by this — and you have to wonder if Old School is being galvanized or broken. Elsewhere, Sheller (146.04) handled Beer Sponges! with Puka Nacua going for 37.70, and All you need is Love quietly extended their winning streak to four games by rolling WhoZ Next 129.08-94.16. The silent assassin energy from Love is genuinely starting to feel like a problem for everyone else.

Week 6 is where the chaos really starts separating survivors from casualties. The 2-3 cluster is enormous — six teams, a 200-point spread between them, and everyone with a legitimate excuse for why their record is lying about their roster. Somebody in that group is about to go 3-3 and feel great about it. Somebody else is going 1-5 and starting to google "how do trades work." The benching epidemic is still alive and well — Daily Dose of Zink left 63.66 points on the bench in a 70.86-point performance — and at some point that stops being a quirk and starts being a cause of death.

MATCHUP RECAPS

All you need is Love def. WhoZ Next, 129.08–94.16

Love was balanced in the way a well-assembled charcuterie board is balanced — Jordan Love (25.28), James Cook (22.80), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (22.80), Kyren Williams (19.60), Jameson Williams (18.70), five contributors all showing up and none of them embarrassing anyone. That's four straight wins, 4-1, and 637.08 total points good for fourth in the entire league. The championship trajectory people aren't panicking about yet is starting to feel very real. WhoZ Next, meanwhile, started RJ Harvey for 0.70 points and has now lost five consecutive games to open a season in a 16-team keeper league where 96 elite players are already off the board — which means the cupboard wasn't bare, the cupboard just refuses to cooperate. WhoZ Next had 40.60 points on the bench, which at 0-5 is the kind of detail that makes you stare at the ceiling at night.

Eatadyick def. Knicks Always, 88.64–73.14

This was the ugliest game of the week, which is really saying something in a week that also featured a 0.00-point kicker and a starting quarterback with 1.84 points. Eatadyick won at 88.64 points, which is below the league average, and yet it was comfortable. C.J. Stroud (20.94) was the high scorer in a game where the combined output was barely 162 points — which is what Total Karnage scored by themselves this week. Knicks Always had Tyler Warren going for 21.40, which was great, and then Dak Prescott (14.64) and Skyler Bell (0.00) surrounding him, which was not. The 47.70 points Knicks Always left on the bench in a game they lost by 15 is not a coincidence anymore — it's a philosophy. A bad one. Both teams are 2-3 and pointed at very different ceilings.

Total Karnage def. Old School, 163.78–122.30

This was a blowout, and Old School's individual numbers make it so much worse to process. Christian Watson went for 32.30. Malik Nabers went for 29.10. Joe Burrow went for 24.60. Old School played a legitimately good game and got obliterated by 41 points because Bucky Irving (31.50), Brock Bowers (23.00), Malik Willis (20.88), Matthew Golden (20.30), and Justin Jefferson (18.80) all decided Week 5 was the week to show out simultaneously. Total Karnage is now 3-2 with a two-game winning streak and the second-highest single-game score in league history, which makes them the most dangerous team in the standings that people aren't actively afraid of yet. Old School is 2-3 with back-to-back devastating losses and 28.14 bench points sitting unused this week. At some point the talent on that roster has to start winning the games the schedule owes it.

Dumpster Fire Donations def. Whoopsies, 103.72–82.84

Dumpster Fire is 5-0. Their QB this week was Kirk Cousins at 13.72. Their kicker was Cairo Santos at 0.00. Their third wide receiver was Tee Higgins at 4.20. Jaylen Warren went for 36.80, the New York Jets defense put up 17.00, and that was apparently enough because Whoopsies showed up with Tyler Shough under center for 1.84 points. The Rammies-Dumpster Fire undefeated collision is now inevitable by schedule, and the 34-point PPG gap remains unchanged — but chaos energy is real and Jaylen Warren is doing things. Whoopsies is on a three-game losing streak now, and the kicker (Spencer Shrader, 21.00) outscored the quarterback, both running backs, and Roman Wilson (OUT, 0.00) combined. That's not a lineup. That's a cry for help.

Rammies Are #1 def. Tank For Arch, 158.36–118.84

CeeDee Lamb scored 2.90 points. The final score was 158.36. Please sit with that. Jahmyr Gibbs (37.70) and Isaiah Likely (32.40) made CeeDee Lamb's 2.90 not just survivable but irrelevant, which is a level of roster depth that borders on offensive in a keeper league. Rammies Are #1 is 5-0, averaging 161.63 points per game, and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Tank For Arch got 28.94 from Jared Goff and 23.40 from Garrett Wilson and still lost by nearly 40 — but the real story is the 32.90 points sitting on Tank's bench untouched, marking yet another week where the discipline gap is costing this roster a winnable game. Playoff math from 2-3 is still survivable, but only if the bench eventually gets activated.

Eff them Picks def. Nazty Hawk, 116.70–103.72

Two wins in a row for Eff them Picks, who at 625.08 total points has more scoring firepower than every team in the league except Rammies, Love, and a certain trash-fire-branded team that wins on vibes. George Pickens went for 28.00 and Will Reichard (grabbed off waivers in Week 4) kicked in 16.00, outscoring the margin of victory on his own — a waiver wire lottery ticket that paid out exactly when it needed to. Nazty Hawk had the stars show up — Matthew Stafford (27.32), Parker Washington (30.40) — but the Pittsburgh Steelers defense contributed 1.00 point and Kalif Raymond added 3.40, and dead roster spots are killer at this level. Both teams are 2-3, but Eff them Picks is trending toward .500 with momentum, and Nazty Hawk is trending toward a lineup audit.

Rocky Mountain Renegades def. Daily Dose of Zink, 94.40–70.86

Josh Allen scored 31.50 points, which was almost exactly a third of Rocky Mountain's entire team output (94.40). Carnell Tate scored 1.60. Harold Fannin scored 1.40. The math on this roster is genuinely terrifying for playoff purposes — when Allen goes cold, there's nothing behind him. But Allen didn't go cold, and Daily Dose of Zink scored 70.86 with 63.66 points on the bench, which is the fourth documented instance of a benching epidemic that has now crossed from recurring pattern into clinical condition. David Montgomery started at RB and put up 1.10 points. There were 63 points sitting behind him, unused, while the team lost by 23. Rocky Mountain is 3-2 and in the playoff picture, but they're one bad Allen week away from a very uncomfortable conversation.

Sheller def. Beer Sponges!, 146.04–106.62

Sheller had Puka Nacua (37.70), Davante Adams (22.10), Jason Myers (23.00), and Ja'Marr Chase (19.70) all fire in the same week, and the result was a season-high 146.04 and a 39-point beatdown. The star power is real and it's finally executing on a consistent basis — three of the last two weeks have felt like the roster everyone expected Sheller to field all along. Beer Sponges! had Derrick Henry (21.00) and the 49ers defense (20.00) doing real work, but Bo Nix put up 7.92 points at quarterback, which is now the signature move of this team's season — talent everywhere, a ceiling problem at the most important position. Beer Sponges! is 1-4, and the runway is shortening. Sheller is 3-2 and finally looking like a team that builds on weeks instead of resetting them.

POWER RANKINGS

  1. Rammies Are #1 (Finkle & Einhorn Inc., 5-0) — CeeDee Lamb scored 2.90 this week and it was irrelevant. That's the whole review.

  2. Dumpster Fire Donations (5-0) — Undefeated on chaos energy, season-low performances, and one running back doing 36 points of heavy lifting. Cairo Santos is their kicker. They are 5-0.

  3. All you need is Love (4-1) — Four-game winning streak, balanced five-contributor weeks, 637 total points, and approximately zero people talking about them. That's exactly how you want it.

  4. Total Karnage (3-2) — Second-highest single-game score in league history, two-game streak, ascending velocity. The most dangerous team in the standings that nobody's properly afraid of yet.

  5. Sheller (3-2) — Star power synchronized, season-high executed, three wins in three weeks if you count the vibe shift. Puka Nacua at 37.70 is not a fluke, it's a pattern.

  6. Eff them Picks (2-3) — 625.08 total points, fourth-most in the league, two-game win streak, and a record that has been lying about this roster all season. The correction is happening.

  7. Old School (2-3) — Three elite performers, 122 points, lost by 41. The football gods owe this team a gift basket and an apology. Burrow, Watson, and Nabers are too good for 2-3.

  8. Rocky Mountain Renegades (3-2) — Josh Allen is a one-man band and the backup musicians are named Harold Fannin (1.40) and Carnell Tate (1.60). Still winning. Unsustainable.

  9. Nazty Hawk (2-3) — Stafford and Parker Washington both showed up and still lost because the supporting cast is a black hole. Roster balance is the skill nobody talks about enough.

  10. Tank For Arch (2-3) — Jared Goff, Garrett Wilson, and 32.90 bench points that refused to see the field again. The discipline losses are starting to look intentional at this point.

  11. Beer Sponges! (1-4) — Derrick Henry is a top-five fantasy RB. Bo Nix is a 7.92-point quarterback. These two facts cannot coexist on a playoff-bound roster.

  12. Whoopsies (2-3) — The kicker outscored the QB, both running backs, and a receiver. Tyler Shough at 1.84 is not a one-week mistake. It is a lifestyle.

  13. Eatadyick (2-3) — Won with 88 points because their opponent scored 73. At some point "winning ugly" becomes "the opponent was worse" and that's not a strategy.

  14. Knicks Always (2-3) — Lost to a team that scored 88 points. Tyler Warren is working really hard to drag everyone else across the finish line and really hard is not enough.

  15. Daily Dose of Zink (2-3) — 63.66 bench points. Unused. While losing. For the fourth time. David Montgomery started and scored 1.10 points. Intervention closed, referrals unavailable.

  16. WhoZ Next (0-5) — Five weeks, zero wins, RJ Harvey at 0.70. The 40.60 bench points are the saddest number in the league this week and there is real competition for that title.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • ›

🏆 Marquee Matchup: The undefeated arms race gets its first real stress test in Week 6 when the schedule starts tightening. Rammies (5-0, 161.63 PPG) and Dumpster Fire (5-0, 126.94 PPG) aren't meeting yet, but every week that passes without a loss makes the eventual collision more seismic. One of these perfect records dies when they meet, and Jaylen Warren is the most dangerous weapon on the underdog side of a 34-point PPG gap.

  • ›

🔥 Streak Watch: All you need is Love (W4) is the quietest four-game winning streak in league history. Five balanced contributors, 637 total points, and a 4-1 record that should be generating significantly more panic than it currently is. Total Karnage (W2) and Rocky Mountain (W2) are also riding momentum, but Love's consistency is in a different tier.

  • ›

⚠️ Must-Win: Whoopsies and Beer Sponges! are staring down 1-5 and 2-4 respectively if they drop Week 6, and the QB situations at both franchises (Tyler Shough, Bo Nix) haven't shown any signs of resolving themselves. The prediction stands: another loss for either team and playoff probability falls off a cliff. Week 6 is the last off-ramp.

  • ›

💀 Revenge Game: Old School has absorbed a 1.74-point loss and a 41-point demolition in back-to-back weeks. Joe Burrow, Christian Watson, and Malik Nabers are all still on this roster. That talent doesn't stay quiet for three weeks in a row — whoever Old School draws in Week 6 is facing a team that has been professionally disrespected and remembers every detail.

  • ›

📊 League Trend: The benching epidemic is no longer a subplot — it's the competitive separator. Daily Dose of Zink (63.66 unused), Knicks Always (47.70 unused), Tank For Arch (32.90 unused), and WhoZ Next (40.60 unused) are collectively hemorrhaging games on lineup discipline while Eff them Picks climbs the standings with clean execution. The bottom-eight playoff race will be decided by who actually plays their best players, not who has the best players. Those are two very different things in NoCo NFL right now.
