EugB Ends SeattleSnoops' Undefeated Dream, 190.56–155.50
WEEK IN REVIEW
The Xylem Watermakers league had one job this week: crown a sole leader at the top. Instead, EugB showed up with 190.56 points and personally torched SeattleSnoops' undefeated season to the ground. Tyler Shough dropped 37.46, James Cook cooked for 35.30, Malik Nabers added 28.50, and just like that the last perfect record in the league is gone. SeattleSnoops, who had been quietly assembling a dynasty narrative behind Josh Allen and a historically expensive kicker, ran into a buzzsaw and fell 190.56–155.50. Meanwhile, the Acetheman regression prediction? Dead on arrival. He scraped out a 151.26–129.94 win over BiG0LTITIs89 — his season low — but he's still 5-1 and alone atop the standings. The predicted SeattleSnoops vs. Acetheman coronation never happened because EugB crashed the ceremony and stole the crown.
The rest of the week was a parade of upsets. Stepdad97, who was supposedly one loss away from playoff desperation, went out and stomped WildaBeast25 175.48–144.18, handing WildaBeast their second straight loss and stopping the bleeding on a three-game skid. FunkyColdMedina82 — the team everyone wrote off at 1-4 — put up 181.10 to dismantle Chungymonkey 181.10–145.42, a win that snaps their drought and extends Chungymonkey's losing streak to four. Chungymonkey started Quinshon Judkins, who is listed OUT with a foot injury, and got exactly what you'd expect: 0.00 points. In a game decided by 35.68, that zero wasn't just a bad beat — it was the margin.
Week 7 is setting up with genuine chaos energy. SeattleSnoops needs an immediate bounce-back or their playoff seeding collapses fast. EugB is suddenly on a three-game win streak at 3-3 and smelling blood. Acetheman remains the class of the league but hasn't looked invincible in two weeks. And WildaBeast25, once 4-0 and untouchable, has now lost back-to-back and is watching teams close in from behind.
MATCHUP RECAPS
Let em Cook (EugB) def. SeattleSnoops, 190.56–155.50
EugB's 190.56 was 22% above the league average this week and served as the execution weapon for the league's biggest upset. Tyler Shough (37.46), James Cook (35.30), and Malik Nabers (28.50) all cleared 28 points, giving EugB the kind of floor-to-ceiling depth that SeattleSnoops simply couldn't match. SeattleSnoops got the usual from Josh Allen (32.30) and a solid D'Andre Swift (31.00), but Jake Ferguson put up a catastrophic 3.30 at TE and Rashid Shaheed contributed a very competitive 10.30 toward his own team's defeat. SeattleSnoops falls to 5-1, dropping their first game of the season after five weeks of looking unbeatable — and they did it at home against a team that wasn't even a top-4 roster two weeks ago. EugB is now 3-3 on a three-game win streak, and what looked like a team just staying alive suddenly looks like a team building toward something real.
Team 7 (Acetheman) def. TiTiLOVE89 (BiG0LTITIs89), 151.26–129.94
Acetheman's regression arc got at least partially right — 151.26 is his season low, a full 103 points below his 254.76 ceiling from two weeks ago. He won, but this was not the Acetheman that scorched the league in Week 5. The KC Chiefs DEF pickup from waivers delivered 24.70, and that defense alone outscored the margin of victory (21.32), which says everything about how close this game actually was. BiG0LTITIs89 couldn't get anything from Mark Andrews (1.40) or Nick Folk (1.00 at kicker), and with 37.26 points left rotting on the bench, the loss stings. Acetheman remains 5-1 and sole leader in the standings, but if his stars don't wake up next week, the lead will feel a lot less comfortable.
Team 10 (Stepdad97) def. Team 3 (WildaBeast25), 175.48–144.18
Stepdad97 needed this win badly and got it in convincing fashion, with Kenneth Walker (37.40) and Jonathan Taylor (30.60) carrying the backfield like a freight train. WildaBeast25 put up just 144.18 — their season low — and got nothing from Cam Skattebo (0.00) or Ladd McConkey (2.70, which might be a new form of offensive warfare). The WR depth crisis that was flagged two weeks ago continues to fester: WildaBeast managed 25.70 from Germie Bernard but got nothing resembling reliable production elsewhere in the skill positions. Stepdad97 snaps a three-game losing streak and moves to 3-3, suddenly back in playoff conversation. WildaBeast25 has now dropped two straight after that 4-0 start, and the gap between their ceiling and their floor is getting uncomfortably wide.
Team 4 (FunkyColdMedina82) def. Team 9 (Chungymonkey), 181.10–145.42
FunkyColdMedina82 needed a statement win and delivered one — 181.10 on the back of Chuba Hubbard (33.10), Drake Maye (34.80), Chris Boswell (32.90), and Matthew Golden (22.40). That's four contributors above 22 points, which is the version of this team that should exist every week instead of the CeeDee Lamb 2.90 disaster tour. Chungymonkey, meanwhile, started Quinshon Judkins who is listed OUT with a foot injury and contributed exactly 0.00 points to the cause. Brandon Aubrey added a stunning 1.00 at kicker. To be clear: Chungymonkey's kicker and one running back combined for 1.00 point in a game they lost by 35.68. The four-game losing streak is now a full-blown crisis, and the schedule isn't getting any easier.
Kraft Rice (tyyyyy96) def. Balls Deep (CJ_D), 173.60–168.24
The bottom of the standings couldn't even produce an easy result — tyyyyy96 survived CJ_D by just 5.36 points in a game that was ugly from the waist down on both sides. Christian McCaffrey (37.70) and Jayden Daniels (37.50) did the heavy lifting for tyyyyy96, while a kicker — Chase McLaughlin — somehow dropped 32.60 points to keep the scoreboard respectable. CJ_D got 40.84 from Trevor Lawrence and 30.70 from Bhayshul Tuten, but left 46.48 points on the bench, continuing what has become a season-long theme of having the right players in the wrong seats. The bench mismanagement curse is alive and well in the Balls Deep camp. tyyyyy96 moves to 2-4 on a two-game win streak; CJ_D stays at 2-4 and is now on a three-game losing streak with their lineup decisions getting harder to defend.
Team 6 (TChilds29) def. Team 8 (JustSayWhen2), 139.56–117.22
This was the least glamorous win of the week, which is saying something for a 139-point performance. TChilds29 got 24.16 from Jalon Daniels — a free agent pickup who outscored the margin of victory by itself (22.34 margin, 24.16 from Daniels) — and leaned on Rachaad White (19.20) and Jaylen Warren (16.80) in the backfield. JustSayWhen2 could only muster 117.22, which was 29% below the league average, and Jacoby Brissett (19.92) continued to be an anchor at QB in a season that has been full of anchors. Garrett Wilson posted 8.40, Kenny Gainwell contributed 4.40, and TreVeyon Henderson added a heroic 5.50. JustSayWhen2 is 2-4 and has now scored 117 or below in multiple weeks — this is a roster in freefall. TChilds29 moves to 3-3 with back-to-back wins and is starting to look like a sneaky playoff contender.
POWER RANKINGS
-
Team 7 (Acetheman, 5-1) — Still leads the league in points and record, but 151-point week is a warning shot. Regression is real; respond accordingly.
-
SeattleSnoops (SeattleSnoops, 5-1) — First loss stings more because of how it happened. Josh Allen won't save you if your TE posts 3.30 every week.
-
Team 3 (WildaBeast25, 4-2) — Two straight losses after a 4-0 start. WR depth isn't a theory anymore — it's a confirmed structural problem costing wins.
-
Let em Cook (EugB, 3-3) — Three-game win streak. Beat the undefeated team. Tyler Shough dropped 37 points. This team is playing the best football in the league right now.
-
Team 10 (Stepdad97, 3-3) — Kenneth Walker and Jonathan Taylor are a two-headed backfield monster when healthy. Snapped a three-game skid. Don't sleep on this team.
-
TiTiLOVE89 (BiG0LTITIs89, 3-3) — Mark Andrews (1.40) and Nick Folk (1.00) combined for less than a field goal. Fix the dead weight or Bijan Robinson will carry this coffin solo.
-
Team 6 (TChilds29, 3-3) — Two-game win streak built on smart waiver pickups and opportunistic scheduling. A.J. Brown's 4.70 still haunts the lineup. WR1 reliability is overdue.
-
Team 4 (FunkyColdMedina82, 2-4) — Finally looked like a real team. Four 22-plus contributors. If Drake Maye keeps cooking and the WRs stay functional, this record gets ugly fast in the right direction.
-
Kraft Rice (tyyyyy96, 2-4) — CMC and Jayden Daniels is a top-3 core in this league. The problem is everything else. Two-game win streak is real but the margin of 5.36 points isn't reassuring.
-
Balls Deep (CJ_D, 2-4) — 46.48 bench points in a five-point loss. Trevor Lawrence threw 40 points at a wall and watched his bench wave at him from the wrong side of the score. Three-game losing streak.
-
Team 9 (Chungymonkey, 2-4) — Four-game losing streak. Started a player listed OUT. Brandon Aubrey scored 1.00 point. There are roadkill rosters doing better lineup work right now.
-
Team 8 (JustSayWhen2, 2-4) — 117.22 points. Garrett Wilson for 8.40. Kenny Gainwell for 4.40. At some point the waiver wire has to become a personality trait, because this starting lineup is a cry for help.
LOOKING AHEAD

🏆 Marquee Matchup — Acetheman vs. SeattleSnoops (finally): The collision everyone expected in Week 6 got delayed by EugB's heist. Now it's here. Acetheman (5-1) vs. SeattleSnoops (5-1), both at season lows this week, both desperate to prove they're the real #1. One of them is going to 6-1. The other starts having conversations about tiebreakers.
- ›
🔥 Streak Watch — EugB (W3) and tyyyyy96 (W2): Two teams that looked finished are now breathing down the 4-2 WildaBeast25's neck. EugB has won three straight and just knocked off the undefeated team. If either of these squads strings together another win, the playoff picture at 3-3 turns into a three-way scrum.
- ›
⚠️ Must-Win — Chungymonkey: At 2-4 on a four-game skid, another loss doesn't just hurt — it mathematically buries them. Their total points (999.14) are the highest among losing records in this league, which means they've been the unluckiest or the most mismanaged. Both are fixable. One is more likely.
- ›
💀 Revenge Game — WildaBeast25: Back-to-back losses for the first time all season, a 144-point stinker as their latest offering, and Cam Skattebo scoring 0.00. WildaBeast25 needs to come out violent next week. Their 224.96 ceiling from Week 1 is still in there somewhere — it better find its way out before this turns from a slump into a slide.
- ›
📉 League Trend — The Bench Tax is Collecting: CJ_D (46.48 on bench), WildaBeast25 (55.30 on bench), Stepdad97 (79.22 on bench), BiG0LTITIs89 (37.26 on bench). The prediction that bench mismanagement would cost playoff spots is running ahead of schedule. At some point this isn't bad luck — it's bad lineup decisions compounding week over week into a 2-4 record. The teams at the top are optimizing. The teams at the bottom are leaving full rosters on their bench.
