Barnett drops 183.93 on Zay in an 84-point massacre.
WEEK IN REVIEW
Week 4 of BROVID was a full-on crime scene. The biggest story was Barnett putting Zay in a bodybag โ 183.93 to 99.09, an 84.84-point blowout that wasn't even close by halftime. Tetairoa McMillan dropped 45.20 points. Bijan Robinson added 31.70. Chuba Hubbard chipped in 28.90. That's three players doing damage while Zay's entire lineup was out here producing 99.09 total โ with Saquon Barkley, who is now listed OUT with a hamstring injury, contributing a heroic 1.00 point to the cause. The brothers had beef this week, and Barnett won it in a landslide. Meanwhile, the group chat had to be going crazy when Curly โ the 3-1 big-brain himself โ got cooked by Adam 181.17 to 162.17. CeeDee Lamb alone put up 42.30 points for Adam. Curly had been averaging 189.14 points on the season and talking accordingly. Now he's on a one-game losing streak and the whole league gets to watch him explain why his roster is still elite.
The upsets didn't stop there. Yenney โ the commish, the guy who does all the work and gets all the smoke โ snapped his three-game skid by beating Ton Ton 165.02 to 147.57. The Minnesota Vikings defense, a free agent pickup Yenney made in Week 3, delivered 21.50 points and literally outscored his margin of victory. Even more disrespectful to Ton Ton's brand: he didn't have Josh Allen starting this week, and Jalen Hurts only managed 13.52 points at QB. The template was broken. Massa Farr, a man who has seen things go wrong in this league in ways that defy probability, finally exhaled โ beating Suttbutt 146.03 to 126.91 for his first win of the season. Puka Nacua dropped 28.70 and Brian Robinson added 25.70. It wasn't pretty, but Massa Farr will absolutely take it.
Four teams now sit at 3-1 โ Curly, Barley, Barnett, and Zay โ but the gap between them in points is enormous. Curly leads with 756.55 total points, while Zay is barely hanging on at 513.14. The record is the same but these are very different teams right now. Week 5 is where the real separation starts. Someone's dropping to 3-2, and in a 12-team league where playoff spots are precious, every loss from here stings more than the last.
MATCHUP RECAPS
BIJANWITDABAW (Barnett) def. Jefe (Zay), 183.93โ99.09
Barnett posted his season-high this week โ 183.93 points, 29% above the league average of 146.55 โ and it wasn't subtle. Tetairoa McMillan led the charge with 45.20 points at WR, followed by Bijan Robinson's 31.70 and Chuba Hubbard's 28.90. That's three starters combining for 105.80 points while Trevor Lawrence quietly had a quiet 13.58 at QB and it literally didn't matter. Barnett is now on a two-game winning streak at 3-1 and making serious noise despite being third in the standings by points. On the other side, Zay's 99.09 was 31% below league average and his season low by a wide margin โ Saquon Barkley, now listed OUT, contributed just 1.00 point before checking out entirely. The margin of 84.84 points is the second-largest blowout this season, and the brothers feud is currently 2-1 in Barnett's column where it counts.
McHonkeys (Adam) def. Bands emeka dance (Curly), 181.17โ162.17
The big-brain finally caught an L. Adam's 181.17 was 27% above league average and it came at the perfect time โ knocking the league's top scorer off his perch. CeeDee Lamb was the story with 42.30 points, and Tee Higgins added 27.70, giving Adam a WR1/WR2 combo that Curly simply couldn't match. Curly's 162.17 was his season low โ a significant dip from his 189.14 season average โ and he had 47.70 bench points sitting unused, which is the kind of stat that will haunt lineup decisions in the group chat all week. Adam improves to 2-2 and climbs back into the playoff conversation with real momentum. Curly is still first in the standings and first in total points at 756.55, but the narrative has officially cracked โ and the championship talk from Curly better get a little quieter for at least one week.
Allahu Dakbar (Barley) def. The Bower III (Roser), 168.16โ133.06
Barley keeps winning and nobody is talking about it, which is exactly how Barley likes it going into the playoffs โ until he doesn't. 168.16 points on the back of Kenneth Walker's absurd 35.90 and Nico Collins dropping 32.80 at WR. Those two alone combined for 68.70 points. Barley moves to 3-1, currently second in the standings with 664.98 total points and a one-week winning streak. Roser's 133.06 was serviceable โ Jonathan Taylor had a nice 24.70 and Brock Bowers added 20.60 โ but it wasn't enough, and Roser now falls to 1-3 with three straight losses. As the newer member of the league, Roser is running out of runway to make a playoff run realistic. Dalton Kincaid's 1.70 at TE is a quiet disaster that Barley never had to exploit because the margin was already comfortable.
Yenney Given Sunday (Yenney) def. Hidin' From Biden (Ton Ton), 165.02โ147.57
The commish finally got his win and it came at Ton Ton's expense, which makes it taste better for everyone except Ton Ton. Yenney's 165.02 was well above the league average, led by Javonte Williams going off for 31.30 at RB and the Minnesota Vikings defense delivering 21.50 points โ a free agent pickup Yenney made in Week 3 that paid for itself and then some. That defense alone outscored the 17.45-point margin of victory. The upset tag is earned: Yenney was 1-3 going in and Ton Ton was 2-2 with the better record. Ton Ton's 147.57 wasn't a collapse โ Zay Flowers gave him 27.80 and Sam LaPorta added 22.40 โ but Jalen Hurts sleepwalked through 13.52 points, and without the QB1 production, the copy-paste formula didn't close. Ton Ton falls to 2-2 on a one-game losing streak; Yenney snaps a three-game skid and breathes for the first time all season.
Cookin' In The Kitchen (Massa Farr) def. Washington Redskins (Suttbutt), 146.03โ126.91
Massa Farr wins a fantasy football game. Circle the date. After going 1-3 with the league's worst total points at 476.62 coming in, Massa Farr scraped together 146.03 โ right at the league average โ behind Puka Nacua's 28.70 and Brian Robinson's 25.70. Jared Goff added 25.98 at QB, so the whole lineup was at least functional for the first time in what felt like forever. Suttbutt's 126.91 was a quiet disaster โ Ja'Marr Chase, one of the most explosive receivers in the league, put up 5.70 points, and Jake Ferguson managed 4.10 at TE. Bo Nix at 15.06 didn't help either. Suttbutt falls to 2-2 and is on a one-game losing skid despite having a roster that looks better on paper than this. He won't let you forget he's got rings, but right now he'd settle for a functional Ja'Marr Chase week.
Amon drugs (Deebo) def. Niggas in trouble (Carson), 147.95โ97.57
Carson's 97.57 was 32% below league average and his second consecutive loss โ but the real headline is the New Orleans Saints defense going negative, finishing at -6.25 points. That's points taken away from Carson. The Saints defense actively made things worse. Courtland Sutton contributed 1.40 points at WR, and Dalton Schultz added 2.90 at TE, so Carson had a full lineup of guys essentially trolling him. Deebo, the ghost of the league, quietly cashed in with Kyren Williams exploding for 36.70 at RB โ the kind of waiver wire result that Deebo just keeps finding while nobody notices. Spencer Shrader, a kicker Deebo added off free agency in Week 4, dropped 17.40 points and contributed meaningfully to the win. Deebo moves to 2-2 and keeps doing his thing while Carson sits at 1-3 on a two-game losing streak, wondering how to explain this lineup to himself.
POWER RANKINGS
-
Bands emeka dance (Curly, 3-1) โ Still first by points at 756.55, but that season-low 162.17 and 47 bench points left rotting says the cracks are forming.
-
Allahu Dakbar (Barley, 3-1) โ Consistent, dangerous, and flying under the radar. Kenneth Walker going off for 35.90 is the kind of production that wins weeks. Playoff Barley incoming โ pray for him.
-
BIJANWITDABAW (Barnett, 3-1) โ Posted a season-high 183.93, has the most volatile ceiling in the league, and just put up 84 on his own brother. On a two-game win streak and not slowing down.
-
McHonkeys (Adam, 2-2) โ CeeDee Lamb for 42.30 and Tee Higgins for 27.70 in the same week is a cheat code. Two championships already and now he's cooking again. Everybody in the chat hates to admit it.
-
Jefe (Zay, 3-1) โ The record says 3-1 but the points say something else entirely. 513.14 total is the lowest of any 3-1 team by over 74 points. That 99.09 gut-punch was ugly, and Saquon being listed OUT doesn't help the vibe.
-
Amon drugs (Deebo, 2-2) โ Quietly 2-2 with Kyren Williams doing real damage and waiver instincts that nobody respects enough. The ghost keeps producing. Watch the ghost.
-
Washington Redskins (Suttbutt, 2-2) โ Ja'Marr Chase for 5.70 is a personal insult. He has the roster to be top-four but the scores aren't reflecting it. Sleeper team energy turning into just a sleepy team.
-
Hidin' From Biden (Ton Ton, 2-2) โ Jalen Hurts at 13.52 broke the formula this week. Sam LaPorta and Zay Flowers are real, but this roster needs its QB to show up or it's just a very expensive midrange lineup.
-
Yenney Given Sunday (Yenney, 1-3) โ Finally. The commish gets a win and it's an upset. A defense pickup outscoring his margin of victory is either brilliant or lucky, but Yenney won't care which one you call it.
-
The Bower III (Roser, 1-3) โ Three-game losing streak for the newest member of the crew. Jonathan Taylor and Brock Bowers are a real foundation, but TreVeyon Henderson for 4.20 and Rashee Rice for 0.00 are killing lineups.
-
Cookin' In The Kitchen (Massa Farr, 1-3) โ First win of the season and it felt like a championship. Puka Nacua and Brian Robinson showed up when it mattered. The luck has to turn eventually โ maybe it already started.
-
Niggas in trouble (Carson, 1-3) โ A defense scoring negative points, Courtland Sutton with 1.40, and a two-game losing streak. Carson is somewhere out there thinking about a trade. Whatever the trade is, talk him out of it.
LOOKING AHEAD
- โบ
๐ Marquee Matchup โ Barley vs. Barnett: Two 3-1 teams, wildly different point totals, same playoff urgency. Barnett just dropped 183.93. Barley hasn't lost since Week 3. One of these teams is dropping to 3-2 and the other takes a real step toward the top seed.
- โบ
๐ฅ Streak Watch โ Barnett (W2): He's averaging 164 over his last two weeks and his floor just rose after that McMillan explosion. If he hits W3, the BIJANWITDABAW conversation becomes impossible to ignore.
- โบ
โ ๏ธ Must-Win โ Zay (3-1, but barely): With only 513.14 total points and Saquon listed OUT, another slow week could cost Zay not just the game but serious tiebreaker damage down the road. The record flatters him right now.
- โบ
๐ Revenge Game โ Curly vs. TBD: Curly just posted his season low and got beaten by Adam in front of everybody. The big-brain doesn't take losses quietly. Whoever is on his schedule in Week 5 better be ready for a bounce-back attempt โ and Curly's season average of 189.14 says the ceiling is still terrifying.
- โบ
๐ League Trend โ The Bottom Is Getting Dangerous: Yenney, Roser, Carson, and Massa Farr are all 1-3, but three of the four scored between 133 and 165 this week. Nobody down there is dead yet, and with the top of the standings this volatile, a hot streak from any of them in the next two weeks gets them right back in the hunt.
