JustSayWhen2 steals one by 1.54 as Stepdad97 starts a zero.

WEEK IN REVIEW

The biggest story of Week 4 wasn't a blowout — it was a ghost. Stepdad97 lined up with Kenneth Walker (41.90), Dak Prescott (35.10), and Jonathan Taylor (32.70), which is a legitimately terrifying roster. Then Ladd McConkey checked in at 0.00 points, because McConkey is listed OUT with a foot injury, and someone apparently didn't get the memo. That dead roster spot cost Stepdad97 1.54 points — the exact margin by which JustSayWhen2 won. Let that marinate. Kenneth Walker alone would've papered over most lineups in this league, and yet here we are. JustSayWhen2 sneaks out at 168.34, Stepdad97 chokes at 166.80, and the butterfly effect of one zeroed-out wide receiver reshapes the entire Week 4 standings.

Meanwhile, Acetheman put on a clinic. A 210.52-point performance dismantled CJ_D's Balls Deep squad by 62.44 points, and it wasn't even close at halftime. Kyren Williams going for 44.70 points will do that. Acetheman is now 3-1 and chasing the two undefeated squads atop the standings — WildaBeast25 (4-0, 188.93 avg) and SeattleSnoops (4-0, 183.75 avg) — who both survived their own Week 4 scares. SeattleSnoops in particular scraped past Chungymonkey by a mere 2.44 points with just 147.12 on the board, their season low. The 4-0 record stays clean, but that lineup was not.

Week 5 arrives with WildaBeast25 and SeattleSnoops still undefeated, Acetheman knocking on the door, and tyyyyy96 sitting at 0-4 with a kicker who scored 2.00 points. The middle of the standings is a six-team traffic jam and exactly one bad week separates playoff contender from also-ran. Buckle up.

MATCHUP RECAPS

Acetheman def. Balls Deep (CJ_D), 210.52–148.08

Acetheman came in and just absolutely embarrassed CJ_D this week, posting 210.52 — 28% above the league average of 164.72. Kyren Williams (44.70), Brock Purdy (34.12), Puka Nacua (28.20), and Spencer Shrader (28.40 at kicker, off waivers) turned this into a Sunday afternoon beatdown. CJ_D managed 148.08, which is fine in most weeks, but Saquon Barkley — the guy you presumably drafted with optimism — contributed exactly 2.00 points. Two. Emeka Egbuka added 3.30 because apparently CJ_D's receiving corps had a contest to see who could disappoint harder. Acetheman is now 3-1 with a three-game win streak and very clearly has designs on the top two. CJ_D at 2-2 needs to figure out what's happening on that WR depth chart before this thing gets away from them.

Team 3 (WildaBeast25) def. Team 5 (BiG0LTITIs89), 196.00–167.28

WildaBeast25 continues its undefeated march, and honestly the most impressive part is the consistency — 196.00 this week, 224.96 season high, 151.52 season low, 188.93 average. This team does not have bad weeks. Aaron Jones (25.80), Jahmyr Gibbs (25.20), and Mahomes (25.50) gave the lineup three 25-point performances, and Ka'imi Fairbairn at kicker dropped 30.40 like it was nothing. BiG0LTITIs89 had a legitimate game here — Bijan Robinson posted 37.20 and Jordan Love hit 26.08 — but DJ Moore (3.20) and George Pickens (9.50) made sure the WR corps didn't hold up their end. WildaBeast25 at 4-0 is the team everyone has circled on their schedule. BiG0LTITIs89 drops to 2-2 and has now lost back-to-back, with a receiving corps that needs to clean itself up fast.

Team 2 (SeattleSnoops) def. Team 9 (Chungymonkey), 147.12–144.68

This was the ugliest 4-0 victory you'll ever see. SeattleSnoops put up 147.12 — their season low — and still found a way to win by 2.44 points. Josh Allen (31.52) was the only real bright spot in a lineup where Jason Myers contributed 4.50 at kicker and Tyler Warren added a forgettable 9.10 at tight end. Chungymonkey had Lamar Jackson (27.38), Chase Brown (23.60), Quinshon Judkins (30.10), and the Vikings defense (21.10) — and still came up short because Dalton Kincaid posted 1.70 and the WR corps of Pat Bryant (7.70), Christian Watson (7.70), and Stefon Diggs (8.50) combined for a combined 23.90 points. SeattleSnoops is somehow 4-0 despite this performance. Chungymonkey is 2-2 on a two-game skid and should probably be furious about the state of that TE spot.

Team 8 (JustSayWhen2) def. Team 10 (Stepdad97), 168.34–166.80

We have to talk about this one. Stepdad97 had three players go for 30+ points — Kenneth Walker (41.90), Dak Prescott (35.10), Jonathan Taylor (32.70). That is 109.70 points from three players. And they still lost. Ladd McConkey is listed OUT and scored 0.00, and that zero single-handedly flipped this matchup. JustSayWhen2 won by 1.54 — which means if McConkey had so much as tripped over a pylon on a garbage-time route, this outcome is different. Tee Higgins (26.70) and Jake Bates (32.40 from the kicker spot) were the heroes for JustSayWhen2, and Jacoby Brissett — added off waivers — chipped in 22.94. Stepdad97 falls to 2-2 on a two-game losing streak and really needs to start checking injury reports. JustSayWhen2 climbs to 2-2 and snaps back into the conversation.

Let em Cook (EugB) def. Kraft Rice (tyyyyy96), 173.54–139.86

EugB is 1-3 and finally looked like a team that belongs in this league. Tyler Shough (31.94), Ashton Jeanty (26.10), Malik Nabers (23.20), James Cook (22.30), and Cameron Dicker (22.50) all hit 20+ points, which is five different contributors contributing like contributors should. The problem for EugB is that this was against tyyyyy96, who is now 0-4, scored 139.86 — the week's low — and is running out of excuses. Bryce Young went for 37.46, which is legitimately impressive, and Nico Collins added 30.80, but Kenyon Sadiq at TE dropped a 0.00 and Parker Washington contributed 2.50. When your two best players combine for 68 points and you still lose by 34, the supporting cast is the problem. EugB wins but remains 1-3 — they need to stack wins fast before the playoff picture sets.

Team 4 (FunkyColdMedina82) def. Team 6 (TChilds29), 170.12–144.32

FunkyColdMedina82 avoided another week at the bottom of the standings by riding CeeDee Lamb (41.80) and Chuba Hubbard (35.90) to a 170.12 showing, which is actually their season high. When those two go off like that, this team works. The issue is what's around them — Kalif Raymond (2.60), Jakobi Meyers (6.30), and Chris Boswell at kicker (5.10) are not inspiring confidence. TChilds29 had Zay Flowers (25.80) and Jaylen Warren (24.10) doing real work, but Ja'Marr Chase — Ja'Marr Chase — posted 5.70, which is statistically worse than whatever Dontayvion Wicks was doing out there at 4.80. TChilds29 drops to 1-3 and now has to be considered on upset alert every week. FunkyColdMedina82 gets off the schneid at 1-3 but needs consistency, not a feast-or-famine WR1 carrying the whole operation.

POWER RANKINGS

  1. WildaBeast25 (4-0, 755.72 PF) — Still undefeated, still averaging 188.93 per week. This is the most complete roster in the league and it isn't close.
  2. SeattleSnoops (4-0, 735.02 PF) — Josh Allen is the backbone here, but 147 points nearly blew a 4-0 start. The armor has a crack.
  3. Acetheman (3-1, 728.14 PF) — Three straight wins, 210-point explosion this week. The only team that looks capable of catching the top two right now.
  4. Stepdad97 (2-2, 707.30 PF) — Best points-for of any 2-2 team. Still has the season high in the whole league. Check the injury report next week, please.
  5. Chungymonkey (2-2, 681.88 PF) — Lost by 2.44 to a SeattleSnoops team that barely showed up. Scoring ceiling is real; TE position is a disaster.
  6. BiG0LTITIs89 (2-2, 631.24 PF) — Bijan Robinson is carrying the weight of four underachieving receivers. Two-game skid starting to sting.
  7. JustSayWhen2 (2-2, 631.74 PF) — Won by 1.54 on the back of an injured opponent's zero. Won't complain about it, but the offense needs more than Tee Higgins and a kicker.
  8. CJ_D / Balls Deep (2-2, 631.92 PF) — Saquon Barkley for 2.00 points in a 62-point loss is genuinely hard to watch. The talent is there on paper.
  9. FunkyColdMedina82 (1-3, 615.12 PF) — CeeDee Lamb's best week is FunkyColdMedina's best week. That's a fragile foundation at 1-3.
  10. EugB / Let em Cook (1-3, 586.18 PF) — Finally cooked something edible in Week 4. Still one of the lower point totals in the league; needs to build on this.
  11. TChilds29 (1-3, 578.72 PF) — Ja'Marr Chase with 5.70 points. That's it. That's the tweet. Lowest points-for in the league.
  12. tyyyyy96 / Kraft Rice (0-4, 630.00 PF) — A 2.00-point kicker and a 0.00 tight end in the same week on a 0-4 team. The math simply isn't mathing.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • ›🏆 Marquee Matchup: WildaBeast25 vs. SeattleSnoops would be the game of the season if it's on the schedule — the only two 4-0 teams in the league, separated by just 20 points on the season. One of them could be 5-0 next week.
  • ›🔥 Streak Watch: Acetheman has won three straight and is averaging 182 points per game. Whoever draws them in Week 5 is walking into a buzzsaw — good luck.
  • ›⚠️ Must-Win: tyyyyy96 is 0-4 and running out of runway fast. A fifth loss makes a playoff push statistically possible but emotionally implausible. Something needs to change, starting with the kicker and TE positions.
  • ›😤 Revenge Game: Stepdad97 lost by 1.54 to JustSayWhen2 because a wide receiver was listed out and contributed zero points. If that roster gets healthy and focused, this team — with the league's season-high score — is dangerous and angry.
  • ›📉 League Trend: Benches are costing people games. SeattleSnoops left 87.58 on the bench in a 2.44-point win. Stepdad97 had 88.48 on the bench in a 1.54-point loss. JustSayWhen2 had 69.00 sitting. At some point, lineup management stops being background noise and becomes the difference between a playoff spot and a golf clap from the rest of the league.
