HEADLINE

Dan stays perfect at 5-0 while Andy's 165.50 goes unanswered.

WEEK IN REVIEW

The undefeated train keeps rolling. Dan's Nick's Chubby put up 150.72 this week — his season high — and smothered Joe's Unsolicited Dak Pics by 39.22 points to go a pristine 5-0. Parker Washington dropped 30.40 and Matthew Stafford added 27.32 as the former CSU lacrosse face-off specialist and league commissioner continues to make this thing look effortless. Meanwhile, Andy's I Came, She Wentz posted 165.50 — the week's high score — with Josh Allen (30.50), Bucky Irving (31.50), and Jason Myers somehow dropping 23.00 at kicker to bulldoze Ben by 35.34. Through five weeks, Andy is averaging 149.35 points per game and has accumulated 746.76 total points. That's not a fantasy team. That's a war crime. The Dan-Andy collision course remains the most anticipated matchup of the regular season, and neither man is showing any signs of blinking.

The chaos underneath the top two was spectacular. Tucker's YoungHoe Kool went nuclear on James's Schrack Daddy — George Pickens (28.00), Jared Goff (28.94), and Spencer Shrader's absurd 21.00 kicker leg combined for a 153.42 blowout that handed James his third straight loss by a 50.40-point margin. James, the Fort Collins contingent's biggest Broncos guy, started Saquon Barkley — who is currently listed out — and got zero points from his RB1 slot while leaving 69.88 points sitting on his bench. Zero. Barkley. Points. And 69.88 unused. That's not bad luck, that's a crime scene. Sully, meanwhile, pulled off the week's most nerve-shredding win: a 1.76-point nail-biter over Scudder, with Jaylen Warren going off for 36.80 to save the newcomer lacrosse coach from an 0-5 catastrophe. Scudder had 88.30 bench points untouched and started Tyson Bagent at QB for 1.18 points. Eighty-eight. Bench. Points.

Heading into Week 6, the real question is whether Andy's 746.76-point juggernaut can be slowed, or whether Dan's perfect record holds water against tougher competition. The 3-2 cluster of Joe, Scudder, and Jack is getting tighter and more desperate by the week, and with James at 1-4 and hemorrhaging points off his bench, the playoff window isn't just closing — it's being boarded up.

MATCHUP RECAPS

Sloppybite (Jack) def. Shelly Duuuuuuuuval (Steven), 148.68–137.80

Jack's Sloppybite put up his season high of 148.68, riding Malik Nabers (29.10), Sam LaPorta (19.80), and Jacoby Brissett (25.28) to a two-game win streak and a 3-2 record. That's a meaningful bounce-back for Jack, who was 47% below league average in Week 3 and is now stringing together real performances. Steven's Shelly Duuuuuuuuval had Christian Watson explode for 32.30 and Joe Burrow chip in 24.60, but Jake Ferguson's 4.90 at TE and Jeremiyah Love's 2.20 at RB dragged him down. Steven now sits at 2-3 with the third-highest point total in the league at 678.74 — his schedule has been an absolute villain all season. For Jack, the two-game streak tightens his grip on a playoff spot. For Steven, the math is getting uncomfortable.

Nick's Chubby (Dan) def. Unsolicited Dak Pics (Joe), 150.72–111.50

Dan's 150.72 was 21% above the league average and his personal season high, with Parker Washington's 30.40 being the headline. The undefeated Jaguars superfan and league commissioner is now 5-0 and it is genuinely difficult to find a weakness in his week-to-week output. Joe, on the other hand, had Jalen Hurts limp to 13.00, Tee Higgins contribute a brutal 4.20, and Tony Pollard add an insulting 5.20 — leaving 50.82 points on his bench untouched. The guy who was called a "quiet threat" two weeks ago got loudly un-threatened. Joe drops to 3-2 and snaps a one-game win streak. Dan remains the only undefeated team in the league and has now won by an average of over 30 points in his last two games.

Jenna Tilwortz (Sully) def. Team Scudder (Scudder), 135.24–133.48 🔥 NAIL-BITER

Jaylen Warren saved Sully's season. The running back went for 36.80 points and delivered a 1.76-point margin of survival in the closest game of Week 5. Sully's Ja'Marr Chase added 19.70 and Matthew Golden contributed 20.30 in a genuinely balanced effort from the league newcomer, who desperately needed this win at 0-4. Scudder, meanwhile, had Jahmyr Gibbs torch the field for 37.70 and Isaiah Likely go off for 32.40 — but started Tyson Bagent at QB for a catastrophic 1.18 points and left 88.30 points rotting on his bench. Carnell Tate (1.60) and DK Metcalf (5.30) didn't help. Scudder drops to 3-2 with a two-game losing streak, and that bench mismanagement is starting to look like a personality trait. The Chicago entrepreneur who tried to sell the group Bitcoin in 2010 is once again ahead of his time in assembling talent — he's just not deploying it correctly.

YoungHoe Kool (Tucker) def. Schrack Daddy (James), 153.42–103.02 💥 BLOWOUT

Tucker went absolutely feral. George Pickens (28.00), Jared Goff (28.94), Garrett Wilson (23.40), James Cook (22.80), and Spencer Shrader's 21.00 kicker performance combined to post 153.42 — 23% above league average — and hand James a 50.40-point beatdown. Tucker is the Fort Collins wildcard who always delivers maximum chaos energy, and this week it finally translated to the scoreboard. James, meanwhile, is listed with Saquon Barkley currently out — Barkley scored 0.00 points — and left 69.88 points on his bench, the most painful number of the week. Christian McCaffrey posted 17.30, Davante Adams added 22.10, and Pat Freiermuth contributed 21.50, but Bo Nix's 7.92 and Barkley's zero made those numbers irrelevant. James falls to 1-4 with a three-game losing streak. The playoff prediction from last week is resolved: James cannot afford more losses, and he just took another one.

I Came, She Wentz (Andy) def. Pukanda Forever (Ben), 165.50–130.16

Andy is operating on a different frequency than the rest of this league. Josh Allen posted 30.50, Bucky Irving exploded for 31.50, Tyler Warren added 21.40, and Jason Myers somehow contributed 23.00 at kicker. The Arkansas lawyer who "dibbs" Carson Wentz every year finally found a team that doesn't need him — and it shows. At 4-1 with a 149.35 average and 746.76 total points, Andy's I Came, She Wentz is the most complete roster in the league. Ben's Pukanda Forever was not embarrassed — Drake Maye dropped 39.46, Puka Nacua added 37.70, and Braelon Allen chipped in 18.60 — but CeeDee Lamb's 2.90 and Deebo Samuel's 2.50 were anchors that kept Andy from a truly historic margin. Ben falls to 1-4 and needs a significant roster shakeup to stay relevant.

POWER RANKINGS

  1. Nick's Chubby (Dan, 5-0) — Only undefeated team, season-high 150.72 this week, Parker Washington emerging as a genuine weapon. The league founder cooks.
  2. I Came, She Wentz (Andy, 4-1) — 746.76 total points is a season-long statement. Four-game win streak, averaging 149.35. This roster is built different.
  3. Sloppybite (Jack, 3-2) — Season high this week, two-game win streak, rising at exactly the right time. Malik Nabers at 29.10 is a problem for opponents.
  4. Unsolicited Dak Pics (Joe, 3-2) — The 50.82 bench points hurt, but the roster is still loaded. One clean week from Hurts and he's dangerous again.
  5. Team Scudder (Scudder, 3-2) — 88.30 bench points unused is unconscionable. Gibbs (37.70) and Likely (32.40) prove the talent is there. Deploy it.
  6. Shelly Duuuuuuuuval (Steven, 2-3) — Third-highest point total in the league. Christian Watson explosion keeps him relevant. Schedule has been genuinely brutal.
  7. YoungHoe Kool (Tucker, 2-3) — Posted 153.42 this week and broke his losing streak emphatically. The Iowa car dealership heir brings chaos and occasionally, points.
  8. Jenna Tilwortz (Sully, 1-4) — A 1.76-point win over Scudder is a lifeline, not a revival. Warren's 36.80 was spectacular but Sully's margin for error is gone.
  9. Pukanda Forever (Ben, 1-4) — Drake Maye (39.46) and Puka Nacua (37.70) are legitimate. The elementary school teacher from Philly needs those two to carry the whole building.
  10. Schrack Daddy (James, 1-4) — Three-game losing skid, Barkley listed out and scoring zero, 69.88 bench points wasted. McCaffrey and Barkley need to show up at the same time. Soon.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • ›

🔥 Marquee Matchup: The Dan vs. Andy showdown that has been predicted since Week 1 is not yet scheduled this week, but with Dan at 5-0 and Andy at 4-1, every game either plays from here shapes their eventual collision course. Watch both scores carefully — the gap between 656.44 and 746.76 in total points tells a story about who is peaking and who is pacing.

  • ›

📈 Streak Watch: Andy's four-game win streak is the longest active streak in the league and shows zero signs of slowing with a 149.35 average. Dan's unbeaten run at 5-0 is historic for this league. One of these streaks will eventually end — the other might go all the way to the playoffs.

  • ›

🚨 Must-Win: James at 1-4 with a three-game losing streak is in full emergency mode. With Saquon Barkley currently listed out and 69.88 bench points left unused this week, the Smoky Hill/CSU group chat needs to have a serious intervention with Schrack Daddy before his playoff odds disappear entirely.

  • ›

⚔️ Revenge Game: Scudder lost by 1.76 points this week because Tyson Bagent put up 1.18 at QB and 88.30 bench points collected dust. The Chicago entrepreneur has too much talent to keep losing like this — expect a correction, and expect it to be loud when it comes.

  • ›

📊 League Trend: The bench mismanagement epidemic is no longer a subplot — it's the defining storyline of the season. Scudder (88.30 unused), James (69.88 unused), Joe (50.82 unused), and Tucker (30.64 unused) combined to leave nearly 240 points on the bench in Week 5 alone. In a league where the average margin of victory matters for playoff tiebreakers, those are points that will haunt managers in October.
