Matt Goes 4-0, But Megan Dropped a League-High 177.46

WEEK IN REVIEW

Week 4 delivered the loudest scoreboard the league has seen. Matt rolled to a 175.88–104.12 demolition of Hannah — a 71.76-point margin that stands as the season's biggest blowout — and locked up the league's only 4-0 record with a 164.27 points-per-game average that is starting to look genuinely dangerous. Tetairoa McMillan (45.20) and Kyren Williams (36.70) did what they do, and Matt's worst game of the season is still 151.32. Meanwhile, Megan didn't flinch. She put up the week's highest score — 177.46, a new season high — to blast Cody 177.46–131.02, powered by a CeeDee Lamb explosion that has already been documented. Three-game win streak. Second-best record. Highest single-game score in league history so far. The Matt vs. Megan prediction from last week asked what would happen when an unstoppable average met a team capable of a career game — and the answer is they played different opponents and both won, which means the collision is still coming.

The week's most interesting story, however, was Darius quietly becoming a problem. He dropped 154.88 on Jeremy to hand Amon A Boat its first loss of the season, 154.88–128.58, with Chuba Hubbard (25.90), Malik Nabers (23.20), and Deebo Samuel (18.00) all clearing 18 points in the same game. That's back-to-back wins for Darius, a 2-2 record, and a roster that is significantly deeper than a fourth-place standing suggests. Jeremy, who picked up Nico Collins off waivers in Week 3 and saw him deliver 30.80 this week, still lost — because 128.58 is a fine score until your opponent goes nuclear. The revenge game angle was real. Darius was just realer.

Andrew's collapse continued. After posting the second-highest season average in the league at 151.49, he put up a season-low 112.52 and lost to Shannon 133.02–112.52 — meaning the same roster that dropped 176.46 in Week 3 couldn't clear 113 one week later. Kenneth Walker went for 30.90. Ladd McConkey went for 0.00. DJ Moore went for 2.70. That's the Andrew experience in one lineup. Shannon, meanwhile, keeps doing what Shannon does: Bijan Robinson (27.70), Tee Higgins (26.70), solid game, another win, somehow the quietest 3-1 in the league. Week 5 brings the moment the league has been waiting for — Matt versus Megan, 4-0 versus 3-1, 164.27 average versus 177.46 season high. Something has to give.

MATCHUP RECAPS

Team 3 (Matt, 4-0) def. Rock Out W Your Brock Out (Hannah, 0-4), 175.88–104.12

Matt didn't play a football game this week. He performed a scheduled demolition. A 71.76-point margin is the largest blowout of the season, and Matt came in at 33% above the league average while Hannah checked in at 21% below it. Tetairoa McMillan's 45.20 and Kyren Williams's 36.70 carried the load, and Matt's bench still had 23.36 points sitting unused — his lowest bench total all season, which means he barely needed them. Hannah's situation has no obvious exit: her season high is 121.42, and her four losses have come by 12.58, 39.24, 14.78, and now 71.76 points. Brock Purdy (19.62) and Quinshon Judkins (21.60) showed up; everyone else mostly didn't. Rock Out W Your Brock Out is now 0-4, has the second-lowest scoring total in the league, and faces a schedule that offers no guaranteed soft landing.

Kelce Me Outside (Megan, 3-1) def. Knuck if you BUCKY boy (Cody, 0-4), 177.46–131.02

Megan dropped a league-high 177.46, her own new season high, against a Cody team that scored 131.02 and still lost by 46.44. CeeDee Lamb (41.30) was the headline, Jonathan Taylor (22.70) and Chase Brown (19.10) kept the engine running, and even Bryce Young — the waiver wire pickup Megan added in Week 3 — contributed 21.46 points. That acquisition is paying dividends. Megan is now 3-1 on a three-game win streak with the highest single score in league history and a 153.98 points-per-game average that puts her firmly in the title conversation. Cody, for his part, scored 131.02 — which would beat four other teams this week — and is still 0-4, still averaging 127.64 per game, and still watching Justin Jefferson (0.00 this week) and Ja'Marr Chase (5.70 this week) combine for less than a functional kicker. Knuck if you BUCKY boy is not a team in freefall. It's a team being specifically, personally victimized by scheduling.

Team 10 (Darius, 2-2) def. Amon A Boat (Jeremy, 3-1), 154.88–128.58

This was the upset of the week. Jeremy entered with a three-game win streak, a capable roster, and Nico Collins (30.80) doing exactly what a waiver wire pickup is supposed to do. It wasn't enough. Darius ran out a lineup that had three players clear 18 points — Chuba Hubbard (25.90), Malik Nabers (23.20), and Deebo Samuel (18.00) — while also getting 17.00 from George Kittle and 16.50 from DK Metcalf. That is not a lucky week. That is a roster arriving. Darius finished 17% above the league average while Jeremy came in 4% below, and the 26.30-point margin erases any luck narrative. Jeremy's 128.58 is still a serviceable score — it would have beaten five teams this week — but when the sleeping giant wakes up with Darius's ceiling, being serviceable isn't enough. Amon A Boat falls to 3-1 with its first loss. Darius climbs to 2-2 with back-to-back wins and a roster depth conversation that is no longer optional.

Team 8 (Shannon, 3-1) def. Team 1 (Andrew, 2-2), 133.02–112.52

Shannon keeps manufacturing wins with a calmness that should unsettle people. Bijan Robinson (27.70) and Tee Higgins (26.70) carried the scoring again, and Sam Darnold (14.32) was steady enough not to matter. Shannon is now 3-1 with a scoring range of 131.16 to 136.54 across four weeks — a 5.38-point spread that is either the most reliable roster in the league or a ceiling that will eventually become a wall. Andrew, on the other hand, is actively fighting his own lineup. Kenneth Walker scored 30.90. Josh Allen scored 19.52. Jahmyr Gibbs scored 17.70. And Ladd McConkey scored 0.00, DJ Moore scored 2.70, and Jeremiyah Love scored 6.50. Andrew's season average of 151.49 is second in the league. His record is 2-2. That gap between talent and results is now three weeks old and officially a pattern. Andrew cannot afford a third straight loss — at 2-3 with this average, the playoff math starts getting uncomfortable.

Team 2 (Nick, 2-2) def. Team 6 (Misty, 1-3), 126.68–92.60

Nick won, and that's the most exciting thing about this matchup. Puka Nacua (27.70) and Brock Bowers (20.60) remain legitimate weapons, but Matthew Stafford (11.68), Garrett Wilson (5.70), and Rashee Rice (0.00) remind you why Nick's 126.84 season average is a treadmill and not a staircase. Misty, for the second consecutive week, landed 30% below the league average. Patrick Mahomes (17.00) and Aaron Jones (16.80) held up their end. Dalton Kincaid (1.70) and Emmett Johnson (2.00) did not. The waiver wire is not being kind to Misty — last week she dropped Nico Collins, who scored 30.80 for Jeremy this week. That is not a footnote. At 1-3 with the week's lowest score and no obvious upward trajectory, Misty is running out of margin for error.

POWER RANKINGS

  1. Team 3 (Matt, 4-0) — Undefeated, highest average, lightest bench load this week. The $500 is not panicking, but it is paying attention.

  2. Kelce Me Outside (Megan, 3-1) — Three-game win streak, league-high score, and a waiver wire QB producing. The only thing between her and first is Matt, which is this week's entire problem.

  3. Amon A Boat (Jeremy, 3-1) — First loss stings but 551.18 points for says the roster is real. Nico Collins is a genuine asset. Needs a bounce-back badly.

  4. Team 8 (Shannon, 3-1) — Quietest 3-1 in the league, tightest scoring range, and wins keep coming. The ceiling question gets louder every week she avoids answering it.

  5. Team 1 (Andrew, 2-2) — Second-best average in the league, back-to-back losses, and Ladd McConkey going for 0.00. The talent is there. The record disagrees.

  6. Team 10 (Darius, 2-2) — Back-to-back wins, upset of the week, and a lineup that put three players over 18 points. The sleeping giant label is officially retired.

  7. Team 2 (Nick, 2-2) — Puka Nacua and Brock Bowers keep the floor high. Everything else keeps the ceiling reachable but not scary.

  8. Knuck if you BUCKY boy (Cody, 0-4) — Averaging 127.64 per game. Winless. Justin Jefferson (0.00) and Ja'Marr Chase (5.70) in the same week should be a crime.

  9. Team 6 (Misty, 1-3) — 92.60 two weeks apart, 1-3 record, Nico Collins on somebody else's roster producing 30.80. A rough week turned into a rough month.

  10. Rock Out W Your Brock Out (Hannah, 0-4) — Lost by 71.76 points. Jake Bates (18.00) outscored four starters. The kicker is the captain now.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • ›

🏆 Marquee Matchup — Matt vs. Megan: The prediction finally gets its resolution. 4-0 and 164.27 average against 3-1 and the week's highest score. Matt hasn't lost. Megan just proved she can go 177.46. One of these records breaks in Week 5.

  • ›

📈 Streak Watch — Megan (W3) and Shannon (W1): Megan chases a fourth straight win against the hardest possible opponent. Shannon, quietly 3-1, looks to extend against a schedule that has been kinder than her ceiling deserves.

  • ›

⚠️ Must-Win — Andrew (2-2): The open prediction was clear: Andrew cannot fall to 2-3 with a 151.49 average and still call this bad luck. Three straight losses with this roster is a roster management conversation, not a variance conversation.

  • ›

🔁 Revenge Game — Jeremy: Amon A Boat took its first loss to Darius last week and enters Week 5 with something to prove. Jeremy's roster is capable — Nico Collins, Lamar Jackson, James Cook — and a bounce-back performance is the expected outcome. Expected outcomes have a way of not showing up on schedule.

  • ›

📊 League Trend — Bench Points as the Separating Line: Matt left 23.36 on the bench this week. Hannah left 88.12. Darius left 64.76 and still won. The gap between contenders and pretenders in this league is increasingly being written by the players who don't start, and that story isn't going away.
