HEADLINE

Andy ends Dan's undefeated run with a 119.60–110.38 gut punch.

WEEK IN REVIEW

The collision course everyone saw coming finally arrived, and Andy delivered. After two weeks of newsletter hand-wringing about when these two 5-0 juggernauts would meet, the answer came in Week 6 — and the former CSU roommates settled it cleanly. Andy's "I Came, She Wentz" put up 119.60 to Dan's 110.38, snapping Dan's five-game winning streak and cementing what the stats have whispered all season: Andy isn't just hot, he's structurally dominant. At 5-1, 866.36 total points, and a 144.39 average, nobody in this league is operating at that altitude. Dan drops to 5-1 as well, same record, but now 99.54 points behind in the total column — and in a tiebreaker scenario, that gap is a canyon.

Elsewhere, the league's best story no one is talking about is Sully's resurrection arc. Three weeks ago he was 1-4 staring into the playoff abyss. Now he's won two straight, including a 40-point blowout of James — Bhayshul Tuten went off for 24.70, Matthew Golden added 22.40, and Jordan Love chipped in 20.24 to push Sully to 128.54. James, meanwhile, posted a season-low 88.18 and had 40.60 points rotting on his bench while starting Saquon Barkley, who is listed OUT and contributed exactly zero. Four straight losses. The math is getting ugly. Tucker also kept his momentum alive, edging Ben 134.34–129.60 in the closest finish of the week — Trevor Lawrence dropped 27.34 and James Cook ran for 24.30, but Ben left 60.44 points on his bench in a game he lost by under five. That one is going to sting.

Week 7 sets up as a critical sorting mechanism for the 3-3 cluster. Steven, Joe, Tucker, and Jack are all knotted at three wins — but the points separating them are real, and the wrong matchup this week could functionally end someone's playoff hopes before Halloween. Meanwhile, Andy just beat the only team that looked like his equal. If that isn't a five-alarm warning for the rest of the league, nothing is.

MATCHUP RECAPS

Jenna Tilwortz (Sully) def. Schrack Daddy (James), 128.54–88.18

Sully's 128.54 came in at 13.8% above the week's league average of 112.93, powered by a makeshift lineup that absolutely cooked. Bhayshul Tuten (24.70), Matthew Golden (22.40), Jordan Love (20.24), and George Kittle (17.90) did the heavy lifting while Sully had 26.12 on the bench — a responsible, almost unrecognizable display of roster management from a guy who was 52.40 points one month ago. James posted the week's low score at 88.18, a full 21.9% below league average, and the Saquon Barkley situation is simply indefensible on paper — zero points from your RB1 when that player is listed OUT is a one-point swing that could've changed last week. His bench had 40.60 unused. James has now lost four straight and sits 1-5 with the lowest total points in the league at 649.46. The Fort Collins faithful deserve better. Sully moves to 2-4 and is not dead yet — two straight wins say otherwise.

YoungHoe Kool (Tucker) def. Pukanda Forever (Ben), 134.34–129.60

Tucker's been chaos personified all season, but lately the chaos is organized. Trevor Lawrence went off for 27.34, James Cook added 24.30, D'Andre Swift contributed 23.00, and Tucker's 134.34 was the week's high score — 18.9% above the league average. That said, Tucker left 63.40 points on his bench, the most of anyone this week, which means this win was comfortable but not inevitable. Ben's 129.60 was a genuinely strong performance with Kenneth Walker III exploding for 27.90, Drake Maye delivering 23.80, and Luther Burden III adding 17.50 — and yet Ben lost by 4.74 points while 60.44 sat on his bench untouched. Ben is now 1-5 with the most painful stat in the league: he has lost five games, and this week he lost by fewer points than he left on the bench. Tucker moves to 3-3 on a two-game win streak. Ben needs to completely rethink his lineup decisions before his season becomes a eulogy.

I Came, She Wentz (Andy) def. Nick's Chubby (Dan), 119.60–110.38

The most anticipated matchup of the season delivered a clean verdict — Andy wins, Dan gets his first loss, and the league's hierarchy is officially established. Andy's Kyle Pitts went for 23.00, Josh Allen added 18.30, and Emeka Egbuka chipped in 17.80 to reach 119.60 — not a vintage Andy performance by his own standards (his average is 144.39), but more than enough. Dan posted 110.38 with Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading at 25.40 and Alvin Kamara contributing 14.90, but the Colts D/ST and Tucker Kraft had quiet days and it showed. Andy's five-game win streak is the longest active streak in the league, and his 866.36 total points lead is now a 99.54-point gap over Dan — meaningful in any tiebreaker conversation. Dan falls to his first loss but remains second in the standings at 5-1. The former CSU roommates split their Week 6 matchup, but Andy walks away with the bigger trophy.

Team Scudder (Scudder) def. Sloppybite (Jack), 127.20–98.98

Scudder's loud correction has arrived. After weeks of talent misdeployment, unconscionable bench decisions, and the ghost of Tyson Bagent haunting the proceedings, Scudder put up 127.20 — 12.6% above the week's average — with Isaiah Likely going for 23.90, Jayden Daniels contributing 21.00, and DK Metcalf adding 20.30. He still left 55.56 on the bench, which means the mismanagement hasn't fully resolved, but the starters showed up and that was enough. Jack's 98.98 was 12.3% below the league average, and the lineup had some real problems — Patrick Mahomes logged just 10.48, Mark Andrews put up 1.40, and the Rams D/ST contributed 2.00. Malik Nabers (28.50) and Germie Bernard (25.70) did their jobs, but nobody else did. Jack drops to 3-3 and loses his Week 5 momentum. Scudder climbs to 4-2 and is quietly one of the most dangerous teams in the league when he actually starts the right players.

Shelly Duuuuuuuuval (Steven) def. Unsolicited Dak Pics (Joe), 96.86–95.62

Steven wins the week's closest game — and the most depressing game — by 1.24 points. Both teams finished 21-22% below the league average. Steven's Tyler Shough was the unlikely hero at 26.96, Jalen Coker added 15.70, and Javonte Williams chipped in 13.00, but a 3.00 from Tyler Loop at kicker and 3.30 from Jake Ferguson kept the ceiling low. Joe's Kirk Cousins put up 18.52, Jonathan Taylor added 21.10, but Brandon Aubrey kicked for 1.00 and the Giants D/ST contributed 1.00 — that's 2.00 combined from two roster spots that could've been the entire margin of the game. Joe had 29.50 on the bench and lost by 1.24. Steven improves to 3-3 and extends his streak to two wins, though beating an 85-point performance in Week 6 feels less like vindication and more like survival. Joe drops to 3-3 on a two-game losing streak. The schedule continues to be Steven's villain, but right now it's doing him favors.

POWER RANKINGS

  1. I Came, She Wentz (Andy, 5-1) — Five-game win streak, 144.39 average, and just beat the only team that looked like a threat. Objectively untouchable.
  2. Nick's Chubby (Dan, 5-1) — First loss stings but 5-1 is still elite. JSN (25.40) and Kamara proved they can perform without a blowout week. Still dangerous.
  3. Team Scudder (Scudder, 4-2) — The talent correction finally showed up. If he can stop leaving 55+ points on the bench, top-two is in range.
  4. YoungHoe Kool (Tucker, 3-3) — Two-game win streak and the week's high score. The Iowa oil baron is trending at exactly the right time.
  5. Shelly Duuuuuuuuval (Steven, 3-3) — Third-highest season total at 775.60 but only 3-3. Schedule owes him a favor, and Tyler Shough just delivered one.
  6. Unsolicited Dak Pics (Joe, 3-3) — Two-game losing streak, 29.50 bench points wasted, and lost by 1.24. The quiet threat is becoming a quiet disaster.
  7. Sloppybite (Jack, 3-3) — Mahomes at 10.48, Andrews at 1.40, and a 28-point loss erase last week's momentum instantly. Stars need to align simultaneously.
  8. Jenna Tilwortz (Sully, 2-4) — Two straight wins and 128.54 this week. The newcomer is making things uncomfortable for people who wrote him off.
  9. Pukanda Forever (Ben, 1-5) — Lost by 4.74 with 60.44 on the bench. The gap between Ben's talent and Ben's lineup decisions is where playoff hopes go to die.
  10. Schrack Daddy (James, 1-5) — Four straight losses, a season-low 88.18, and 40.60 left on the bench. The Broncos fan needs a miracle that McCaffrey alone cannot provide.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • ›

🔥 Marquee Matchup: With Andy having just dispatched Dan, all eyes shift to whether Dan can bounce back immediately or if a second straight loss starts a genuine slide. The 5-1 teams are no longer tied — someone in the 3-3 cluster taking down Dan would send shockwaves through the standings.

  • ›

📈 Streak Watch: Andy's five-game win streak is the longest active run in the league and shows zero signs of stopping. Tucker's two-game win streak is building quietly — if the Fort Collins oil man runs it to three, the 3-3 cluster gets a lot less crowded at the top.

  • ›

⚠️ Must-Win: James is 1-5 with four straight losses and a season-low this week. A fifth straight loss at 1-6 would mathematically crater his playoff odds. Christian McCaffrey (30.70 this week) is doing his job — everything else needs to follow.

  • ›

💀 Revenge Game Watch: Sully just ended James's season in spirit. Joe just lost a 1.24-point heartbreaker to Steven. Both men will come into Week 7 with something to prove and lineups that desperately need better deployment decisions than they showed this week.

  • ›

📊 League Trend: The bench mismanagement epidemic is not improving. Tucker (63.40 unused), Scudder (55.56), Ben (60.44), and James (40.60) combined to leave 219.60 points on the bench in Week 7 alone. At some point the difference between a playoff team and a 3-4 team is going to be a single week where someone finally starts the right running back. That week hasn't come yet.
