dawsonballs — whose team is literally named "1st place" — is now in 3rd place and trending the wrong direction after a 108.86-point stinker lost to GRB123. Trevor Lawrence contributed a dignified 7.16 points to that cause. Week 3 is coming fast, and with Asstronaut and GRB123 both sitting at 2-0, the rest of the league needs to figure out who they actually are before these two run away with the standings.

dawsonballs, whose team name is "1st place," is now sitting in 3rd place after Trevor Lawrence decided to contribute 7.16 points to the cause of losing. GRB123 wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire at 128.76 — that's below their season average of 146.09 — but dawsonballs made it easy, scoring 20% below the league average this week. Jonathan Taylor carried SteelCityCholos with 29.20 points while dawsonballs' entire bench contributed just 10.90 points, the lowest bench total of any team this week. dawsonballs still owns the season high score (184.50, Week 1) but is living proof that one great week doesn't make a great team. GRB123 remains undefeated at 2-0; dawsonballs needs a bounce-back fast before the name becomes outright satirical.

Josh Allen put up 39.82 points, Travis Kelce added 25.10, and jules1977 still only won by 20.42. That's because Michael Pittman contributed 0.00 points and Carnell Tate added a spicy 5.70. PhillytheThrill had CeeDee Lamb go off for 35.30 and George Kittle chip in 18.00, but Devin Singletary's 0.90 points and Rhamondre Stevenson's 2.60 ensured the ship stayed anchored to the bottom. Both teams scored within range of the 129.21 league average, making this the most "medium" game of the week. jules1977 improves to 1-1 and moves to 5th in standings; PhillytheThrill drops to 1-1 and slides to 7th, staring at a roster with real upside that keeps finding ways to underdeliver.

This game was decided by 0.60 points. Six. Tenths. Of. A. Point. Asstronaut's Cameron Dicker kicked in a single point — literally 1.00 — and it still wasn't comfortable. Jaxon Smith-Njigba went nuclear for 42.50 points and essentially carried Asstronaut's season on his back while Justin Jefferson sleepwalked to 8.50 and MarShawn Lloyd contributed 7.60. TK23 had Brock Purdy (28.48), CMC (22.60), and Dalton Kincaid (22.50) all performing, but left 53.58 points on the bench — which, if you're keeping score at home, is 89 times the margin of the loss. TK23 is now 0-2 and the unluckiest team in the league, having outscored their bench potential and still found a way to lose by less than a field goal. Asstronaut stays perfect at 2-0 and probably shouldn't sleep too well knowing this one nearly slipped away.
Team 7 (Wingwee) def. ShrimpHulk (a2ron1519), 157.54–85.08
This wasn't a fantasy football game, it was a public execution. Wingwee put up 157.54 — led by DeVonta Smith (27.70), Ja'Marr Chase (26.50), and Kenneth Walker (23.80) — while a2ron1519 posted the season low for the entire league at 85.08 points. Puka Nacua: 0.00 points. Played. Started. Zero. Dallas Goedert: 1.40 points. Ladd McConkey: 6.50. a2ron1519 also left 44.72 points on the bench, which is more than half of what they actually scored. Patrick Mahomes put up 28.98 — the team's sole bright spot — and still couldn't save ShrimpHulk from a 72.46-point beatdown. Wingwee moves to 1-1 and looks dangerous; a2ron1519 sits at 0-2 and needs to have a serious conversation with their starting lineup decisions before the season officially escapes them.
