The closest game of the entire season came down to Tyler Shough — Tyler Shough — putting up 61.98 points at quarterback, which is a sentence nobody in this league predicted writing in Week 2. Without Shough's absurd outing, Stacy doesn't sniff a win here. Andrea, meanwhile, had 108.91 points sitting on her bench — the most unused bench equity of any team this week — which means the accounting professional left more value on the table than a client who forgot to itemize their deductions. Tom Fuller would have rather been napping. Instead, he scraped out a 4.73-point nail-biter over Trystan Krueger that required the Minnesota Vikings defense to drop 27.90 points to seal it. Trystan — the man who joined this league on Emma's coattails and who bleeds Minnesota Viking purple — lost to a team whose defense was the Vikings. The irony is genuinely brutal. Dak Prescott (64.20) and Jonathan Taylor (34.50) gave Trystan a real shot, but Kyle Pitts (3.38) and Ka'imi Fairbairn (6.00) quietly killed the drive. Tom is now 2-0 and averaging 210.71 points, though his floor (195.70 this week) is the lowest of the three undefeated teams. Trystan drops to 0-2 with a season average of 174.32, and the Vikings fan's playoff hopes are about as stable as a Minnesota fourth-quarter lead.
Team 2 (Zoe Karnitz) def. Team 5 (Kari Karnitz), 189.27–172.74
The daughter beat the mom, and somewhere Aaron Karnitz is smiling because at least his side of the family is keeping it clean. Zoe Karnitz — the accounting student who absolutely ran a trade-value audit before the season — got 52.00 from Lamar Jackson and 30.38 from Ja'Marr Chase, which was just enough to handle Kari's 172.74. Kari had Josh Allen go nuclear for 76.03 points — the second-highest individual player score of the week — but DJ Moore posted -0.13 points, which is a special kind of disappointing that only fantasy football can produce. Tucker Kraft added 4.38 and Jadarian Price 6.50, and suddenly Allen's heroics were carrying dead weight. Zoe moves to 1-1 and snaps her losing streak; Kari falls to 0-2 and needs to figure out who's actually going to show up alongside Allen.
