justincash knocks off Mother Kelly by 2.94 in a league-altering nail-biter.
WEEK IN REVIEW
Two weeks in and this league is already sorted into hunters and prey. justincash (the returning champ, let's not forget) survived the most dangerous room in the building, escaping Mother Kelly's house by a mere 2.94 points to go 2-0 on the season. That margin is almost criminal — Mother Kelly is averaging 152.14 points per game, the highest average in the entire league, and she's sitting at 1-1 with 304.28 total points because the schedule has treated her like a piñata. The league is laughing at the wrong person.
The biggest upset of the week belongs to HEEEEEEEEEEEEE, who apparently woke up long enough between beers to beat andie 133.02–128.94. Josh Allen went full supervillain for 42.82 points and Ja'Marr Chase added 26.50, which is what happens when your QB decides to actually try. andie had 78.22 points sitting on the bench — yes, 78.22 — and still lost by 4. That's the kind of roster management that makes you stare at your ceiling at 2 a.m. Meanwhile, Young Shea clubbed Shauners 124.26–94.72 to go 2-0, and Shauners posted a score so low (94.72, 25% below league average) it looked like she stopped starting players after her second drink. Shea's Boyfriend won but scored only 113.30, which barely qualifies as a victory lap over chass's 97.28.
Week 3 is where things get genuinely interesting. Mother Kelly desperately needs a win before the schedule buries her despite being the most talented team on paper. JesusJesse and chass are both 0-2 and running out of "it's early" runway. And justincash keeps collecting wins like they're loyalty points. Someone has to stop this man.
MATCHUP RECAPS
justincash def. StonewallBrgd (Mother Kelly), 139.76–136.82
The defending champ stole one right out of Mother Kelly's hands, winning by 2.94 points in the closest game of Week 2. Dak Prescott (29.76), DeVonta Smith (27.70), and Christian McCaffrey (22.60) carried the load for justincash, and unlike most of this league, he only left 26.50 points on the bench — the lowest bench score of any team this week, meaning he actually started the right people. Mother Kelly countered with Jaxon Smith-Njigba going nuclear for 42.50 points and Stefon Diggs adding 21.70, but Caleb Williams limped in with 7.72 and the defense contributed a forgettable 5.00. Mother Kelly's season total of 304.28 is the highest in the league, and she's 1-1. The schedule is the villain here, not the roster. justincash is 2-0, rolling, and starting to look like the defending champ for a reason.
Young Shea def. Shauners, 124.26–94.72
Young Shea needed a passport to get to the game but somehow still won by 29.54 points. The bad news for Young Shea: she was 12% below her own season average, with Justin Jefferson sleepwalking for 8.50 and DJ Moore posting an embarrassing -0.10 points — negative. He cost money. James Cook (23.90), Chris Olave (22.60), and Dalton Kincaid (22.50) kept the ship afloat, but she also left 63.00 points rotting on the bench. It didn't matter because Shauners (94.72 pts, 25% below league average) had CeeDee Lamb go for 35.30 and nobody else showed up — Drake Maye managed 10.02, David Montgomery 4.40, and Rhamondre Stevenson 3.60. Shauners also had 61.98 bench points sitting idle. Young Shea is 2-0 and keeping street tacos in her purse and wins in her pocket.
HEEEEEEEEEEEEE def. andiesel67 (andie), 133.02–128.94
HEEEEEEEEEEEEE won this one in his sleep — literally, probably. Josh Allen put up 42.82 points, which is the kind of performance that makes everyone else's QB look like a participation trophy. Ja'Marr Chase chipped in 26.50, and that was enough to survive. The real story is andie's bench: 78.22 points left unstarted, the highest wasted bench in the league this week. Jordan Addison went for 4.10 in the starting lineup while better options presumably watched from the sideline. The New England Patriots DEF contributed 22.00 points — that's right, the defense outscored the wide receivers — and Brandon Aubrey hit 17.00 at kicker, yet andie still lost by 4.08. This is the "not there for the curry" situation applied to roster construction. HEEEEEEEEEEEEE snaps a loss streak; andie slides to 1-1 and has some lineup questions to answer.
Shea's Boyfriend (Owen) def. chassel0307 (chass), 113.30–97.28
Owen — who would never order a whole pizza for himself — managed to share enough points around to beat chass by 16.02. Jaylen Waddle (21.80) and George Kittle (18.00) did the heavy lifting, while Bijan Robinson contributed a pedestrian 11.10 and Jordan Love a forgettable 13.80. The win comes with an asterisk: 113.30 is below the league average of 121.41, meaning Owen won because chass was worse, not because Owen was good. Chass was 23% below league average this week — Malik Nabers managed 1.10 points, Colston Loveland 1.30, and despite Jared Goff going for 29.78 and Derrick Henry posting 17.70, the bottom of the roster caved completely. Chass is now 0-2 with a season high of only 133.04, and the window to salvage this season is narrowing. Owen improves to 1-1 and lives another day on someone else's bad week.
Stackhouse2026 def. JesusJesse, 124.60–121.40
Stackhouse, the woman who once saved a dying bird off the street, refused to let JesusJesse die peacefully in Week 2 — she finished him off by 3.20 points instead. Amon-Ra St. Brown was the story with 35.20 points, and Sam LaPorta added 17.20 at TE, which kept Stackhouse's modest total respectable. The brutal twist for JesusJesse: Davante Adams went off for 39.50 and Jonathan Taylor added 29.20 — that's 68.70 points from two players — and he still lost. Why? Because Jaxson Dart started at QB and posted 0.80 points. Zero point eight. The Kansas City Chiefs DEF contributed 0.00 points. JesusJesse scored 121.40 with a dead weight at QB and literally zero from his defense, and still almost won. He also left 68.36 on the bench. JesusJesse falls to 0-2 and Stackhouse improves to 1-1 on the back of a bird-saving, nail-biting, spiritually exhausting win.
POWER RANKINGS
-
Young Shea (shiftyshea67, 2-0) — TSA thinks she's 12, but the standings say she's locked in. 2-0 with a floor and a future.
-
justincash (justincash, 2-0) — Returning champ is already doing returning-champ things. Lowest bench waste in the league. Efficient and dangerous.
-
Mother Kelly (StonewallBrgd, 1-1) — Best average in the league at 152.14, most total points at 304.28, and somehow 1-1. The schedule owes her an apology.
-
HEEEEEEEEEEEEE (HEEEEEEEEEEEEE, 1-1) — Josh Allen and Ja'Marr Chase are a cheat code. When he's awake long enough to start them, nobody's safe.
-
andie (andiesel67, 1-1) — 78.22 bench points wasted in a 4-point loss. Fix the lineup decisions and this team is top three. Don't, and it isn't.
-
Shea's Boyfriend (TeamSheasBoyfriend22, 1-1) — Owen bounced back to .500. 113.30 isn't inspiring, but wins are wins. Kittle and Waddle can carry weeks when everything else cooperates.
-
Stackhouse2026 (Stackhouse2026, 1-1) — Amon-Ra St. Brown is a one-woman rescue mission. Also left 96.98 on the bench, the highest in the league. The roster has more in it than the scores show.
-
Shauners (shaunieee, 1-1) — CeeDee Lamb went for 35.30 and it didn't matter. 94.72 total. That's a rough week even before the second drink.
-
chass (chassel0307, 0-2) — Nabers at 1.10. Loveland at 1.30. Two losses. The good news: the season high is 133.04, so the talent is in there somewhere. It needs to find the exit.
-
JesusJesse (JesusJesse, 0-2) — 68.70 points from two players. 0.80 from the QB. 0.00 from the defense. 0-2 on the season. He probably has three other fantasy teams that are doing fine.
LOOKING AHEAD
- ›
🏆 Marquee Matchup: Mother Kelly vs. anyone, frankly — with 304.28 total points and a 1-1 record, she's the most volatile team in the league and every opponent should be terrified.
- ›
🔥 Streak Watch: justincash at 2-0 is on a collision course with the rest of the league's patience. Young Shea is also 2-0. These two haven't played each other yet, and when they do, it will feel like a playoff game in Week whatever-it-is.
- ›
⚠️ Must-Win Alert: JesusJesse and chass are both 0-2. One more loss for either and the playoffs go from "long shot" to "medical miracle." JesusJesse especially needs to find a functional QB before Jaxson Dart costs him another week.
- ›
💀 Revenge Game Watch: andie lost to HEEEEEEEEEEEEE by 4 while leaving 78 points on the bench. That kind of loss doesn't leave the group chat for a while — and it shouldn't.
- ›
📊 League Trend: Five of this week's five games were decided by 30 points or less, and four were nail-biters. This league is tighter than it looks on the scoreboard — except for Shauners' 94.72, which was not tight at all and should be talked about at length.
